Zhengzhou Xuequan Polymeric Material Co., Ltd. is a welfare enterprise of Shangjie District Civil Affairs Bureau in Zhengzhou city. It was founded as Zhengzhou Latex Glass Fabric Factory, which was a disaster relief welfare enterprise established by Zhengzhou disaster relief office in 1991. Zhengzhou Latex Glass Fabric Factory was transferred to Shangjie District Civil Affairs Bureau on April 14, 1995 and put into production in September, 1995. Its main products were latex glass fibers; since 1999, Zhengzhou Xuequan Polymeric Material Co., Ltd. started to produce high molecule polymers, including Sodium Polyaerylate, polyacrylamide and Super absorbent. Cooperating with Fertilizer Institute of Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences since 2000 on the Chinese 863 project of "Technological system of Modern water-saving agriculture and research and development of new products", we successfully developed patented product-"Nutrition type drought resistance water retention agent" and had made related experiments in 1,000mu of lands in Henan province for 3 years. We applied Chinese patent for this product in August 2004. In November, 2004, this product passed the authentication of Science and Technology Bureau of Henan Province, and got such expert's conclusion as "it is a hi-tech product with leading technical level". It was awarded "second prize of technical advancement" of Henan province in 2005.
